So I just got my new engine in and running really well, and I've hooked up this boost controller. I have the the two wastegate lines exact same length T'd into the COM port on the control valve, and a T'd line from the intake tubes running to the NO port. The problem is I have all of the dials on zero because I didn't want to deal with overboosting the first day I'm driving the car. Well I get onto the highway and just get on it a tiny bit to see where the boost is and how it responds...and my gauge flys up past 1 bar so I get off it real quick and baby it home just to be safe. Anyone know why it would be boosting over 14 PSI when I haven't set the device at all. I was thinking that it would be around 7 psi. Any help would be great.
